RedHorse Environmental was established in 2015 from Confluence Ecological originally formed by Dr. Bruce C. Dickson in 1993.  During the 1990s the company specialized in freshwater fishery projects, stream restoration, and watershed assessments.  Over time work areas have expanded significantly into environmental permitting, environmental monitoring, wetlands projects, pipeline integrity, and wildlife/habitat planning and management.  Research and education have also been a featured part of our portfolio as Dr. Dickson taught ecology courses at the University of Pittsburgh at the Pymatuning Laboratory of Ecology from 1996 through 2008 and at Duquesne University in 2018.  Today we continue to offer specialized environmental services to the private, commercial, government, and education/non-profit sectors.
